Session 1 - Advocate and Elevate: Advancing the manufacturing agenda
ABI Vice President, Government Relations Nicole Crain will speak about the Iowa Association of Business and Industry and provide a “day in the life” view of lobbying as well as an update on current legislation impacting Iowa businesses. Michele Farrell will talk about what ABI is doing to help educate and Elevate Advanced Manufacturing in Iowa.
 
Session 2 - Advocating for an Engineering Career to Middle School Female Students
Adriana D'Onofrio  has worked for Rockwell Collins for 9 years in engineering project management, finance, and now in community relations.  She is the STEM point of contact and primary organizer of K-12 education outreach programming across all Rockwell Collins locations.
 
Session 3 - TAI – Promoting Advocacy, Connectivity & Workforce Outreach for the Tech Industry
The Technology Association of Iowa is the premier professional organization accelerating the success of Iowa's technology industry and tech-based economy. Learn how you can leverage TAI in the areas of advocacy, programming and recognition events, connectivity and networking, and workforce and outreach. TAI's HyperStream, a program created for Iowa youth, fosters real-world learning through hands-on technology projects and competitions and the opportunity to work with technology mentors.
